Energy Transition is the most challenging goal for our country in addressing the climate crisis and tackling ongoing climate change.
To effectively initiate the process of change towards the conscious use of sustainable, low-carbon renewable energy sources, more and more businesses are investing in renewable energy.
This system represents a concrete solution to the climate crisis, helping businesses become more sustainable, innovative, and competitive.
To move in this direction, Renewable Energy Communities (CER), have been launched through DL 162/19 (art. 42bis), bringing together citizens, businesses, companies, territorial entities, and local authorities in small communities to produce and share electricity generated from photovoltaic systems (or powered by renewable sources).
CERs provide environmental, economic, and social benefits to their members in the local areas where they operate Starting April 8th, administrations, businesses, and citizens can access the GSE (Energy Services Manager) portals to apply for incentives for Renewable Energy Communities.
On the portal, it is possible to request contributions for CERs according to the CACER Decree and TIAD.
Additionally, a tool is available for individuals, small and medium-sized businesses to obtain detailed information on the benefits of self-consumption and perform technical-economic simulations.
